You can go to New York to look at beautiful architecture, to visit famous museums, to shop until you drop, to eat dinner at some of the best restaurants in the world. You can chill in Central Park on a blanket and eat a tasty salad, or you can take the boat and see the Statue of Liberty during sunset. We did a little bit of everything but first and foremost, like Chloé would have said it; we partied like we did the 31st of December 1999 – every night!!!
Being used to travel alone and arrive at different train- and bus stations or airports without knowing anyone, I have to admit that this was something special. The last time someone waited for me on an airport with my nametag must have been when I came home from my “around the world” trip four years ago. Thanks a lot Chloé, Emma and Matt, it was so cool!

The crew; Chloé, Robert, Emmanuelle and Mathieu.

Imagine that you arrived at the John F. Kennedy airport just an hour ago. After you finally escaped from the immigration officers you heading to the EXIT sign!!! You know that one week ago some friends you haven’t seen since last year, told you on MSN that they would drive all the way from Montréal to pick you up. Imagine the feeling when the door goes up and there they actually are.

The Skyline

NYPD Blue!
I don’t even know where to begin or what to tell. Everyone should visit New York and feel the vibe of Manhattan. You haven’t really seen the impressing skyline before you have really seen it. I guess also that after a short week in the city with 3 crazy friends I am better off with keeping some of the stories for myself. Like in Bangkok, “What happens in New York, stays in New York”, but nobody included mum and dad should worry too much!

Lunch in Central Park!
Some New Yorkers in the Subway!
More locals
Feeling ghetto in the bus drinking from paper bags

I want this "Park" in Bergen!

Getting ready to party!
Singstars at the caraoke bar
Being totally tourists! There is a short story that I just have to tell anyway! The last night at around 4 o’ clock in the morning we decided to return to the room. However Matt and I had taken a couple of the “reserved” table signs from one of the nightclubs. With more than "a bit" of alcohol in our veins we for some reason agreed that a short photo session was the perfect idea. Of course it wasn’t busy in the streets at this time, but the poor people around us must have been raising their eyebrows. Anyway the outcome was that we found the pictures hilarious and got some extra party energy, and returned to a bar and kind of “owned” it.
These guys are reserved!!!Once again I have to thank you, Chloé, Emma and Matt. It was the greatest days, and I can’t wait to visit you in Montréal later this summer!!
WE WIN!
