Summer moved on...!

So what do you do when you suddenly realize that the summer is almost over, and you have just too many things you should have done, too much schoolwork you should have finished…and you remember that you actually are going to move to Milano in 10 days, and you haven’t even started to look for a apartment!!!

My solution was moving out on the balcony! It all started this weekend when Chloe and Matt came to visit me, and we were thinking: let’s make a lounge! So now I live eat and sleep here together with my roommates. The ultimate chill out is just what I needed before I rush further to Italy!!!

Balcony Life

The summer in Boston has been the busiest summer ever. I could have written about my first helicopter pilot lesson over the coastline of Florida, the Jazzfestival in Montreal, the trip with Anick to Cape Cod or about when Håkon and I rocked on the most wicked consert ever with Electric Six - on a boat!!!! And so on, and so on!!! Work hard, study hard and play hard has never felt more real! However, to write about all this would take forever, so I will rather show you some short videos about the high lights.

I have learned so much this summer, and I have been thinking of many ways of summing this up! For me this has been a summer of great people – roommates, colleagues, classmates and professors. And it has been the summer of reunions – Anick, Brian, Allison, Matt, Chloe, Emma, John and Sofie! I almost can’t believe that you all came and visited me in Boston! And Udita, thanks for showing me NYC the way only a local can do it!!

Thanks to Professor Paul McManus and Allen Mottur, I have also learned a thing or two about entrepreneurship. I am convinced, class participation and interactive lessons is the way to go!

One of the main reasons for going to Boston was to get experience from a startup company! Once again, it all boils down to the importance of great people! If I ever have the opportunity to run my own company, I will make sure that it is both fun and efficient at work! I have never laughed so much at work before. Thank you Paul, Lexie, Jonathan, Raj, Sarah, Praveen, Titi and Henriette!
No matter what happens in the future, it will be terrible with the wrong people, and equally great with the right!!!!

To all of you that made the summer of ’08 a great experience:
Hope to travel, party and do business with you all again! Good luck with your projects! Who’s gonna change the world? Earn the first billion dollar? Or who’s gonna affect a million people with a great idea?
